Adults only. Smart Jamat is for people aged 18 or older. It is not an emergency service. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
What Smart Jamat is
Smart Jamat coordinates a short-lived invitation to pray in an approximate area. A call is limited to prayer, time, area, optional public mosque, source and an applicable Jumuah/Eid slot. There is no free text, image, video, audio upload, link, chat, direct message, precise GPS location or visible organizer profile. The separate Community noticeboard is not available in 4.0.
Predefined messages and Friday rooms
The only thing people can say to each other is a message chosen from a fixed list — attendance (“I'm coming”, “About 10 min late”, “I'm coming, +2 with me”, “I can't come this time”), organizer updates (“We're starting soon”, “The place is full”) and greetings. Nobody can type text, and each phone shows a message in its own language. A message is seen by the organizer and by the people the call reached or who answered it. Its sender appears only as “Organizer” or as “Participant” with a number that has meaning only inside that call; no name, profile or device identifier is shown.
On a Friday the app can show a room for Jumu'ah at a mosque you follow or for your city area. A room has no organizer, cannot be cancelled and sends no notification. Adults who enabled Smart Jamat in the same country — and, for a city room, the same city area — can see it, say that they are going and choose one predefined message. The room shows only how many did so, in broad ranges, never who. It ends when that Friday ends.
Allowed
- A predefined message that is true at the moment you send it, and an honest “I'm going” in a Friday room.
- A genuine call for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib or Isha within the permitted time window.
- Jumuah 1 or Jumuah 2 on Friday, using a verified mosque schedule when available or a clearly unverified manual time.
- An eligible Eid call during the supported Eid date window, with the source shown honestly.
- Cancelling promptly when the time, venue or plan is no longer valid.
Not allowed
- False, deceptive, duplicate, spam or automated calls; manipulation of RSVP or audience information.
- A false organizer update (for example “The place is full” or “The prayer has started” when it is not so), predefined messages repeated to disturb or mislead, or a false “I'm going” in a call or a Friday room.
- Impersonating a mosque, claiming verification that was not granted, or using a mosque name for an unrelated gathering.
- Using a call to find, contact, groom, exploit or meet a child; sexual content or conduct; child sexual abuse or exploitation material.
- Threats, harassment, stalking, hate, discrimination, extremist praise or recruitment, violence or instructions for wrongdoing.
- Sharing or trying to infer a precise location, identity, contact detail or private information about any person.
- Dating, fundraising, commercial promotion, political campaigning, scams, transport solicitation or an attempt to move people to private communication.
- Evading a block, ban, feature flag, rate limit, integrity check, report or moderation decision.
Meet safely
- Prefer a known mosque or appropriate public place. Verify the venue and Jumuah time independently.
- An RSVP is not identity verification and an audience bucket is not a guaranteed headcount.
- Do not rely on a call for transport, safeguarding, accessibility or emergency arrangements.
- Leave and contact local authorities if a situation feels unsafe.
Reports, blocking and enforcement
Use the in-app report control for spam, harassment, unsafe conduct, misleading information, other abuse or child safety. A child-safety report immediately quarantines the call and stops undelivered notifications pending review. Three ordinary reports mark a call for review; ATOM may act earlier when risk is apparent.
You can report a single predefined message. Three counted reports hide it and close the thread to new messages until a moderator decides; a report for unsafe conduct or child safety removes the message from the thread at once. A Friday room can be reported too. Because a room belongs to a whole congregation, no single report closes it, whatever its reason: it goes to a moderator at the third counted report, and its messages are paused until the decision. A report from a registration made less than a day earlier is recorded and reviewed, but is not counted toward those thresholds.
Blocking an organizer suppresses their pending and future calls to your installation and removes your RSVP to their calls. Blocking the sender of a message hides your messages from each other, in both directions, and neither of you is called by the other afterwards. You can review and undo blocks. Reporting and blocking do not tell the organizer or the sender who acted.
ATOM may suppress, quarantine or cancel calls, revoke device access, preserve limited safety evidence, and report illegal material or credible danger to competent authorities. While Smart Jamat is open, severe reports target review within one hour; other reports target review within 12 hours. These are operational targets, not emergency-response guarantees.
Appeal and contact
Smart Jamat is provided and moderated by ATOM Technology. Because calls expire quickly, an in-app restoration may no longer be useful. To contest an enforcement decision, contact support@muslim.atomtech.ro with the public call ID and decision shown in the app. Do not send your device secret or FCM token. Child-safety concerns go to safety@muslim.atomtech.ro.
